New York duo BEAU have announced their debut album — and a London show.
Heather Boo and Emma Rose, who are both 21, will be performing at The Waiting Room on 9 November 2015 ahead of the release of ‘That Thing Reality’ on 11 March 2016.
The album, which has been inspired by legends like Joni Mitchell and Patti Smith, was recorded with producer Al O’Connell (aka ‘alalal’), who has worked with the likes of Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, and Rufus Wainwright.
Building on BEAU’s self-titled debut EP released earlier this year, the 12-song collection includes the songs ‘Oceans’, ‘One Wing’, ‘C’mon Please’, and ‘Soar Across The Sea’, which have all been released as videos.
Besides the video shoots and their time in the recording studio, BEAU have been busy on stages in North America and Europe. They’ve played at Patti Smith’s Chelsea Hotel launch of ‘Cowboy Mouth’, the Cannes Film Festival, and The Social in London.
Apart from their upcoming show at The Waiting Room, the duo will also be performing in cities like Prague, Berlin, and Paris.
