Zakk Wylde has announced his first solo album in 20 years, accompanied by a European tour that includes a London stop.
‘Book Of Shadows II’, created by the Black Label Society mainman and his long-time collaborator John Irwin, is preceded by the new single ‘Sleeping Dogs’.
Due for release on 8 April, the 14-track collection follows up 1996’s ‘Book Of Shadows’ and finds Ozzy Osbourne’s former lead guitarist revisiting its acoustic guitar and piano approach on songs like ‘Tears of December’, ‘Darkest Hour’, ‘Harbors of Pity’, and ‘The King’.
But when he hits the road in the summer, including a stop at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 25 May 2016, Wylde won’t just be showing his softer side. Accompanied by a full band, the hard rock legend will be digging deep into a back catalogue that includes hits like ‘Concrete Jungle’, ‘Angel of Mercy’, and ‘Crazy Horse’ drawn from Black Label Society’s nine studio albums.
Tickets to Zakk Wylde’s solo show in London are available now.
