Christine and the Queens, known to her mother as Héloïse Letissier, has announced her biggest London show to date.
Set to perform at Latitude Festival this weekend, the Nantes-born performer plays Brixton Academy on 2 November 2016.
Tickets go on sale on 15 July at 10am.
Letissier’s debut album, ‘Chaleur Humaine’, was already seven-times platinum in France when released in the UK in February.
It’s now spending its third week in the UK Top 10 following high profile performances on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ and at Glastonbury.
The musician moved to London in 2010 to study, but was instead drawn to Soho’s art and theatre community where, finding inspiration from Madame JoJo’s drag queens, she found the original inspiration for what’s become Christine and the Queens.
