Airbourne breakin’ outta hell and into Camden

Airbourne are ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’ and into the UK this winter as they go on tour in support of their fourth album.

The band, who played the Ramblin’ Man festival in Kent this past weekend, play Camden’s Electric Ballroom on 27 and 28 November 2016. Tickets are available here.

Having spent most of the year working on the 11-track album ‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’ with producer Bob Marlette, brothers Joel and Ryan O’Keeffe, David Roads, and Justin Street are clearly keen to hit the road – if the title track is anything to go by.

“Nothing can stop good-time arse-kickin’ rock’n’roll, and nothing can stop us all from having it. So if that’s what you want, we’ll see ya on the road… and as always, the ringing ears and the hangovers come free of charge,” say the band.

As for the song itself, they explain: “Sometimes when you’ve had enough of wading through the shit ya just need to say:‘Fuck you, I’m outta here’. Rock ’n roll is the highest calibre ammunition to blast that bullshit away, the fuel to get your fist pumpin’ and your head bangin’.”

The Australian band, from Warrnambool, Victoria, have over the course of their three previous albums – ‘Runnin’ Wild’, ‘No Guts. No Glory’, and ‘Black Dog Barking’ – crafted their own sound from influences like Thin Lizzy, Motörhead, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and AC/DC.

‘Breakin’ Outta Hell’, which continues that tradition, is out on 23 September.
