Apple Music Festival celebrates 10 years

Apple Music Festival returns for its tenth anniversary this September.

Artists including The 1975, Britney Spears, and Chance the Rapper will be performing across 10 nights at The Roundhouse in London.

UK-based fans can win the chance to be there by entering prize draws on Apple Music or at www.applemusicfestival.com.

“I am so excited to be playing at the Roundhouse. I love London and can’t wait to share this fantastic experience at the Apple Music Festival with my fans,” says Elton John who will be opening the concert series on 18 September.

Bastille, who headline the event on 26 September, echo his sentiments.

“We’re massively excited to play Apple Music Festival for many reasons, but mainly because it’ll be our first proper London show after the release of our new album, ‘Wild World’,” say the band.

“The Roundhouse is such a beautiful venue and it’s in our hometown, so I can’t think of a better place to play a bunch of new songs for the first time.”

Britney Spears, who releases her album ‘Glory’ this week, will no doubt also be performing some new songs when she takes to the stage on 27 September.

“I’m so excited to go back to London, which is a special place for me to visit and I’m really looking forward to performing at the Apple Music Festival,” she reveals. “It’s also their 10th birthday! It’s going to be a great party.”

Other artists appearing at this year’s festival include Alicia Keys, Robbie Williams, OneRepublic, Calvin Harris, and Michael Bublé.
