Baba Naga are heading to London on the back of their latest 10-inch EP.
The psychedelic band from Sheffield, who release ‘Plná Krvy’/’DeificYen’ physically on 4 November 2016 play The Shacklewell Arms on 30 October as part of the Rough Trade 40th Birthday celebrations.
As a taster, the group have shared ‘Plná Krvy’, which the trio describe as “a stentorian hymn, laying praise to the chimerical paradise of an eternal existence; a battle of sacrifice and realisation of humanistic fear”.
Produced by Arctic Monkeys collaborator Ross Orton, and featuring artwork from Detroit artist David Medel, the release is the second in their trilogy of self-released EPs showcasing their “future-leaning” brand of “heavy, driving” psychedelia.
The band, who have co-headlined with Bo Ningen, and supported the likes of The Underground Youth, Night Beats, and SEXWITCH, have just come off playing Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia.
