Dan Reed Network return to 100 Club as Champions

Following their triumphant album launch show in London last year, Dan Reed Network are returning to 100 Club this March.

The band play the legendary venue in Oxford Street on 10 March as part of an extensive UK tour. Tickets for the 11-date trek are available now.

Ahead of the tour, the group have released the video for their new single, ‘Champion’.

“Champion deals with the concept that we are what we eat, not just our physical health but our soul’s well-being,” says frontman Dan Reed. “It’s about surrounding ourselves with people that feed our dreams, support and push us to be more creative, more alive, and to enjoy the ride.”

“The video portrays the intensity in the eyes of people from every walk of life. Having the band performing in front of the rear projected screens was to immerse those of us who wrote and will be performing this song live to visually state we all live in this bubble of light where every person we meet brings new insights, lessons, strength, and if we’re lucky, wisdom.”

The song is the latest release from ‘Fight Another Day’, DRN’s first studio album since 1991’s ‘The Heat’.

“The title ‘Fight Another Day’ represents the fact that after 25 years we were able to gravitate back to the passion we discovered playing together all those years ago,” says Reed of the LP, which also features the singles ‘Divided’ and ‘The Brave’

“The band and I thought it would be a great experiment and interesting challenge to revisit what endeared the band to so many back in the day and deliver a rock record with funk and soul elements, strong melodies, but this time around incorporate even edgier lyrics while not losing sight that this release needed to be uplifting, infectious, and most of all, powerful when performed live,” says Reed of the LP.

And now the singer is looking forward to doing just that.

“Dan Pred, Brion James, Melvin Brannon II, Rob Daiker and I are really looking forward to playing many new and unique venues throughout the UK, and rockin’ up the funk hard core and meeting all those who are able to attend and bring down the house with us.”
