The Killers are headlining British Summer Time Hyde Park on 8 July.
Supporting the Las Vegas band’s London return are elbow, Tears For Fears, and White Lies.
The Killers, who sold out Wembley Stadium in 2013, are returning with material from their forthcoming new album as well as hits from their four UK#1 albums – ‘Hot Fuss’ (2004), ‘Sam’s Town’ (2006), ‘Day & Age’ (2008), and ‘Battle Born’ (2012) – that have sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
So expect songs like ‘Mr Brightside’, ‘When You Were Young’, ‘Human’, and ‘Read My Mind’ from Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer, and Ronnie Vannucci, Jr.
Elbow, who in 2008 shot to fame with their iconic single ‘One Day Like This’ and picked up the Mercury Prize for ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, return with their seventh studio album ‘Little Fictions’, on 3 February.
Tears for Fears, meanwhile, return to London for the first time in 12 years as Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith will be performing the likes of ‘80s classics ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’, ‘Shout’, and ‘Mad World’.
London trio White Lies, who released their album ‘Friends’ late last year, round off the mainstage lineup.
