L.A. Witch are sharing their reverb-soaked punk sounds with London.
The trio hit The Lexington on 18 February as part of a full UK tour.
Their new single, ‘Brian’, provides a taster of their debut album, which is due later this year.
With echoes of late 1960s Los Angeles – a time of “innocence, beauty, and opportunity, with an underbelly of lawlessness and depravity” – the band’s music has been compared to the likes of Black Sabbath, Velvet Underground, and The Gun Club.
“L.A. Witch,” says their bio, “remind us of that exhilarating revelation that a city can elevate you just as quickly as it can grind you into the dirt.”
