Prime Circle are returning to London for the first time in over two years.
The South African rock band, who last played Dingwalls in late 2014, are bringing the hits and new material from their latest album ‘Let The Night In – Deluxe’ to O2 Academy Islington on 1 April 2017.
Tickets are now available.
“Our latest album has been well-received in South Africa and did exceptionally well in Germany,” says band frontman Ross Learmonth.
“After two years, we are ready to give our fans in London a top-class rocking performance. We have missed our fans and are looking forward to sharing new material off our album with them. We cannot wait to be back in London.”
The Johannesburg-based band – also featuring drummer Dale Schnettler, guitarist Dirk Bisschoff, bassist Marco Gomes, and keyboard player Neil Breytenbach – first broke out in their home country with hits like ‘Hello’ from the 2003 debut album, ‘Hello Crazy World’.
Since then their success has grown with successive LPs like ‘All Or Nothing’, ‘Jekyll and Hyde’, and ‘Evidence’ and songs including ‘Out Of This Place’, ‘Breathing’, and ‘Ghosts’.
Along the way, they’ve amassed 14 award nominations across Africa and performed over 2000 shows in Africa, The Middle East, and Europe.
