Broken Social Scene set for Brixton Academy

Canada’s indie rock musical collective Broken Social Scene are continuing their return to the live arena with a string of European dates in late May and early June, including a slot at Primavera.

But before they reach Barcelona, the band play Albert Hall in Manchester and, on 24 May, London’s Brixton Academy.

Pixies bring ‘Head Carrier’ to Brixton

Just weeks after a sold-out Brixton Academy show, Pixies have announced their return to the venue for two gigs in winter.

The band, who also revealed that their new album ‘Head Carrier’ will be released on 30 September, play the iconic London venue on 28 and 29 November 2016.

PJ Harvey brings ‘Hope’ to Brixton

Following her performances at several summer festivals, including Field Day, Glastonbury, and Primavera Sound, PJ Harvey will be playing 17 headline shows across Europe and the UK later this year.

The tour includes two London performances at Brixton Academy on 30 and 31 October 2016.

Christine and the Queens tilting into Brixton

Christine and the Queens, known to her mother as Héloïse Letissier, has announced her biggest London show to date.

Set to perform at Latitude Festival this weekend, the Nantes-born performer plays Brixton Academy on 2 November 2016.
