Manic Street Preachers are back with their first new music in three years, which will be followed by a national tour. ‘International Blue’ is the lead single from the Welsh trio’s forthcoming album ‘Resistance Is Futile’ and spiritually marks a return to their punk-rock roots following the electronic influences that characterised 2014’s ‘Futurology’ album.
Manic Street Preachers are celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘Everything Must Go’ with a major UK tour celebrating the album that features hits like ‘A Design For Life’ and ‘Australia’.
In London, James Dean Bradfield, Nicky Wire, and Sean Moore sold out Royal Albert Hall on two successive nights during which they first played the album in full before picking highlights from their back catalogue, including ‘You Love Us’, ‘Motorcycle Emptiness’, ‘If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next’, and ‘Walk Me To The Bridge’.
