Jamiroquai are back.
The Grammy-winning electronic soul funk legends return with ‘Automaton’ and a headline show at the Roundhouse on 31 March, the day of the album release. The London performance takes place three days after their first live gig in six years, at Pleyel in Paris.
Jamiroquai will also be headlining several international festivals over the summer in support of their eighth studio album.

“I’m feeling quite overwhelmed,” declares Ezra Furman. The Roundhouse is one of the biggest venues he’s headlined but, if anything, its size has only amplified his performance. “I’m getting carried away up here,” he continues, laughing, from the stage, “but isn’t that the point?”
Dressed in a fitted black dress and pearls, the natural-born showman and raconteur has already emerged a coffin bearing a rose – it is Halloween after all – and will go on to speak passionately about looking out for those who are powerless. Not even comparing the audience to locomotives in need of repair – since this London landmark was originally a “hospital for broken trains” – derails an electric performance that relies as much on spontaneity as musical precision.

Just two years after they first met, HONNE’s James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck are a few weeks from headlining one of London’s most iconic venues, The Roundhouse. Theirs has been a rapid rise, signposted by this year’s UK Top 40 debut album ‘Warm On A Cold Night’, sellout tours of the Europe and US, and slots at summer festivals like Glastonbury and Latitude.
Now co-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hatcher tells us about what he and frontman Clutterbuck each bring to the group, finding their sound, bonding over Radiohead, the song that best sums them up, and the fan with a HONNE tattoo on his chest.
